At Insight Security, we value our customers and operate a customer first approach in our endeavour to make your experience with us as dynamic, speedy and as fulfilling as possible.
Once your cleared payment has been processed, we will endeavour to dispatch your order within 1 working day. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed on the next working day. (Please note we are unable to dispatch or deliver goods on Public or Bank Holidays)
We carry a large stock of security products which we ship directly from our head office, providing you have supplied a valid e-mail address you will receive notification from the courier of the tracking information for your order.
Whilst the vast majority of our orders ship within our 1 day target, if for any reason we will be unable to ship your goods within 3 working days of receipt of your order, we will notify you of the delay and advise you of the expected delivery date
Due to the nature of our products, we understand that you may require them urgently, if that’s the case for your order, please ask a member of our team about our timed or express delivery options.
Please note, items shipped direct from the manufacturer, or bespoke products / solutions may be subject to a longer lead-time. We will be happy to provide you with an estimated delivery date at the time that you place your order.
The vast majority of our orders are shipped via a signed, next day courier delivery service. Unless agreed beforehand the courier will only deliver your goods to the specified delivery address. Insight Security cannot be held responsible for orders left with 3rd parties or in specified safe locations.
If the courier is unable to deliver your order, they will leave a card requiring confirmation of a more convenient time for re-delivery, or for collection from a designated pickup point.
After 3 attempts by the courier at delivery, the goods will be sent back to our warehouse. Orders returned to us may be subject to a re-delivery charge.
Orders shipped from the UK to overseas destinations, maybe subject to customs or import duties at the destination country. Unless otherwise agreed, payment of such duties are the responsibility of the consignee and details of these charges can be obtained from the local tax / customs office.
When you buy from Insight, there are no hidden charges. You will be able to see the total cost of your order including Vat and Carriage costs, before you log into the Secure Payment Area to provide your Debit / Credit Card details.
Whether you order a single, or multiple products on your order, a single carriage charge will be calculated, which will normally be the carriage charge associated with the item in your basket, bearing the highest delivery charge.
Most products fall in to our "Standard" or "Lite" delivery charge bands, however a higher charge may apply to heavy or bulky items.
Where a bulk order is placed for an item, an additional carriage supplement may be added per item above our specified quantity threshold for that item.
As higher tariffs are imposed by national couriers, a supplementary charge may apply to deliveries to the Scottish Highlands.
